SHORT BIO:
​
Sandro Manzon is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter/composer. Originally from Canada, Sandro has lived and worked on his musical ways in Italy, Vietnam, Iceland and Belgium. His Loungey-rock music is regularly influenced by the lush arrangements of classic Brazilian Samba and ‘60s Italiana. With a modern distortion, Sandro also incorporates elements of contemporary classical, avant-jazz, traditional folk, among other influences. Aside from his songs, he composes chamber music and experimental ambient music under the same name. Sandro is currently developing a studio/farm where artists can come and record/mix/rehearse in exchange for assisting with the beautiful farming process.

Sandro Manzon is a Canadian composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His music has been called lounge-rock, experimental, contemporary classical, traditional folk, among others. His songs often converge his classical training, folksy upbringing and experimental nature. Sandro has developed an impressive convergence of musical variety while maintaining a very distinct sense of style. He has performed at festivals throughout North America, Europe and Asia and has gratefully worked with Grammy and Oscar award winning artists and composers from around the globe.

Sandro spent time working at the renowned Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavik, Iceland. Working closely with composer Valgeir Sigurðsson, Sandro was transcribing and arranging the string orchestra for Sigurðsson's 2020 opera 'We Are in Time'.
​
Also an active composer of concert and film music, Sandro regularly produces music for short and feature films, documentaries and animated shorts. His music has been awarded Best Original Score on multiple occasions and the Grand Prize for film music by the SOCAN Foundation. Sandro's chamber music and films have been premiere at major film and concert festivals worldwide.
Sandro has spent time living and working as a musician in Italy, Belgium, Spain, Vietnam, and Canada - working and collaborating with renowned filmmakers, music ensembles, dancers and visual artists.
